Emergency Room RN Requirements

• Active RN license
• 3+ years of Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience required
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• NIHSS certification
• Experience working night shifts in a fast-paced acute care or emergency medicine setting
• Must be comfortable submitting all required certifications with application
• Travel candidates should have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the assignment location

Emergency Department Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency and urgent care conditions
• Perform rapid assessments, triage priorities, and respond effectively in urgent and emergent situations
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions according to provider orders and clinical protocols
• Monitor patient status closely and communicate changes promptly to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary staff to support safe patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation throughout the shift
• Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered Emergency Department environment
