Experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week onsite assignment in Flemington, New Jersey. Join a fast-paced acute care team and provide high-quality bedside nursing care in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele RN experience required
• Active Registered Nurse license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• RNs working on 5S must have 8 stroke CEUs; the 3 CEUs from NIHSS may be included
• Flu immunization required unless a valid medical exemption with supporting documentation is provided

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly communicate changes in patient condition
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and thoroughly
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with unit-specific stroke education requirements as applicable
