• Orientation: 16 hours

Job Requirements

• 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience prior to travel required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required or willingness to obtain prior to start
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Previous experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias preferred
• Must be able to meet all submission and compliance requirements at the time of application

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Interpret dysrhythmias and support timely interventions for telemetry patients
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and document patient care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
• Prioritize care for a varied patient population in a dynamic acute care setting
• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and strong communication throughout the assignment
