We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with Labor & Delivery experience who thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered setting. This travel nurse job is ideal for an RN who is confident in high-acuity obstetric care and looking for consistent 12-hour night shifts in a supportive clinical environment.

Job Details

• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Rockwall, Texas 75032
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• End Date: 11/22/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with weekends and holidays as needed
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of current Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must be able to provide an active driver’s license and meet travel assignment expectations

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout the labor and delivery process
• Support patients and families with compassionate, education-focused care
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to respond to changing patient needs
• Assist with admissions, assessments, interventions, and documentation in accordance with clinical standards
• Respond effectively in urgent and emergent obstetric situations
• Maintain a professional, dependable presence throughout the night shift
