Travel Med/Surg Tele RN needed in Olympia, Washington 98506. Join a dynamic short-term acute care hospital team where you’ll use your telemetry and med/surg nursing skills in a flexible float role. This 13-week travel nursing opportunity offers 12-hour night shifts, Epic charting, and the chance to build experience in a scenic Pacific Northwest community.

- Position: Travel Med/Surg Tele Float Registered Nurse
- Location: Olympia, WA 98506
- Employment Type: Travel RN
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Shifts Per Week: 3
- Schedule: Nights; every other weekend required
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,770-$1,860
- Setting: Short-term acute care hospital
- Charting System: Epic
- Floating: Required between like units based on unit needs
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission; compact RN license accepted if valid
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience required
- Telemetry RN experience required
- Charge nurse experience required
- Prior U.S. clinical experience required
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- NIHSS preferred
- Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients in med/surg and telemetry settings
- Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac telemetry monitoring
- Comfortable working as a float RN and collaborating across multiple care areas
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to med/surg and telemetry patients across varying acuity levels
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias as part of routine patient care
- Deliver high-quality care for adults and geriatrics in a float nursing environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support strong patient outcomes
- Adapt quickly to changing assignments and patient populations, including telemetry, med surg, and related units
- Perform charge nurse responsibilities on select small units when assigned
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established clinical workflows
- Support a team-based environment focused on flexibility, patient safety, and excellent care delivery
