Job Details

• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Circulator) / OR RN
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Belfast, Maine
• Start Date: August 31, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,100-$2,210
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shifts Per Week: 4
• Shift Duration: 16 hours
• Schedule: Rotating call coverage, including weekends and holidays as assigned
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing with access to 3 ORs and 2 procedure rooms
• Charting: EPIC

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Circulator experience strongly preferred; scrub experience is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced critical access surgical environment
• Comfort working with common OR equipment, surgical technology, and perioperative workflows

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Operating Room Circulator and support safe, efficient surgical workflow
• Provide nursing care for a variety of surgical cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, urology, and endoscopy
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to maintain excellent patient outcomes
• Monitor patient safety throughout procedures and ensure accurate documentation in EPIC
• Participate in rotating call coverage and respond as needed for assigned cases
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared operating room environment
