Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department, ER nursing, or ICU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical care and acute care nursing skills with comfort caring for unstable patients
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting
- Excellent adaptability, communication, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with mixed-acuity needs in the Emergency Department
- Monitor and stabilize behavioral health, boarding, trauma, and critically ill patients
- Perform thorough assessments, initiate interventions, and respond quickly to changing patient conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, efficient patient flow
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care while maintaining professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail
- Adapt to a changing patient census and prioritize care based on acuity and clinical need
