Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 1+ year of recent ICU nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• LTAC experience preferred
• Comfort working in a high-acuity adult ICU environment
• Ability to float to qualified Med-Surg assignments as needed
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to ICU and LTAC patients
• Monitor and manage complex conditions including vent weaning, wound care, and tracheostomy/PEG care
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and support respiratory and hemodynamic stability
• Perform assessments, document accurately in Epic EMR, and respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, PT, and social services
• Support procedures and interventions such as central line care, suctioning, and blood glucose management
• Float to other qualified units when needed based on census and operational needs
