Job Details

• Setting: Cardiac Stepdown / Telemetry
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Location: Longview, TX 75601
• Employment Type: Travel RN

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related nursing specialty or acute care setting
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for cardiac stepdown and telemetry patients
• Care for patients with a wide variety of neuro, respiratory, cardiac, and GI conditions
• Monitor and manage patients receiving multiple drips and BiPAP support
• Perform ongoing assessments, administer medications and treatments, and evaluate patient response
• Document patient history, symptoms, care provided, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on care plans, learning needs, and available resources
• Collaborate with the care team and make appropriate assignments and delegations as needed
• Deliver compassionate care while supporting patients with complex physical, emotional, and social needs
