• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Shift Schedule: Evening/night coverage with 12-hour shifts and occasional 8-hour shifts as needed; start times may include 3:00 PM or 7:00 PM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Required
• Float Requirement: May float as needed
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070-$2,180

Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience, including adult and pediatric populations, within the last 3 years
• Epic experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required from AHA only
• Telemetry exam required prior to start with strict passing criteria
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Strong clinical background in high-acuity emergency care
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, and compassionate care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with a wide range of emergency diagnoses
• Care for adult and pediatric patients with complex medical, trauma, cardiac, stroke, and behavioral health needs
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and support stabilization of critically ill patients
• Perform and assist with emergency interventions, including IV therapy, airway support, and procedural monitoring
• Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong communication throughout the shift
• Float as needed and support the needs of a high-volume emergency department
