• Duration: 20 weeks, with a 13-week option also available
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• All required credentials must be active and available at time of submission
• Ability to successfully complete required orientation assessments

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Tele patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per plan of care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the medical record
• Maintain safe, organized care throughout the night shift in a busy hospital environment
• Deliver patient-centered care while adapting to the pace of an acute care nursing assignment
