  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts, days/nights as needed
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
  • Orientation: Weekly start orientation available
  • Schedule Notes: Weekend rotation every other weekend; holiday coverage may be required during winter holidays

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license with the ability to work in Massachusetts
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar critical care or ICU nursing setting
  • Current BLS certification from AHA
  • Current ACLS certification from AHA
  • EPIC experience required
  • Comfortable floating between ICU and IMCU as needed
  • Must have been separated from the organization for at least 6 months to be considered
  • Willingness to participate in rotating day/night scheduling and weekend coverage

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Monitor patient status, assess changes quickly, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team on treatment plans
  • Administer medications, manage complex therapies, and support invasive and non-invasive interventions
  • Document accurately in EPIC and maintain timely clinical records
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges within the ICU and IMCU
  • Respond to changing patient needs in a high-acuity, team-oriented healthcare environment
  • Follow unit protocols, infection prevention standards, and patient safety best practices
