- Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Start Date: 09/07/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts, days/nights as needed
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
- Orientation: Weekly start orientation available
- Schedule Notes: Weekend rotation every other weekend; holiday coverage may be required during winter holidays
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license with the ability to work in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar critical care or ICU nursing setting
- Current BLS certification from AHA
- Current ACLS certification from AHA
- EPIC experience required
- Comfortable floating between ICU and IMCU as needed
- Must have been separated from the organization for at least 6 months to be considered
- Willingness to participate in rotating day/night scheduling and weekend coverage
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient status, assess changes quickly, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team on treatment plans
- Administer medications, manage complex therapies, and support invasive and non-invasive interventions
- Document accurately in EPIC and maintain timely clinical records
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges within the ICU and IMCU
- Respond to changing patient needs in a high-acuity, team-oriented healthcare environment
- Follow unit protocols, infection prevention standards, and patient safety best practices
