We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an 8-week ICU/critical care float pool contract in Pennington, NJ 08534. • Shift Duration: 12-hour nights

• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current ICU and medical-surgical tele (MST) experience required
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH certification required
• Ability to work night shift nursing schedules and adapt to changing needs
• Flexibility to float to applicable units as needed
• No block scheduling or special accommodations available for this assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill and progressive care patients
• Support the float pool with a primary assignment in IMU and float to other applicable units as needed, including MST
• Monitor patient condition, assess changes, and respond appropriately in acute care situations
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with clinical standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Cerner
• Maintain flexibility and professionalism while working across multiple units and patient populations
