Job Details

• Position: Travel CVOR Registered Nurse (Cardiovascular Operating Room RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Variable call schedule; every other weekend and holidays in rotation
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500
• Location: Brooksville, FL 34613
• Start Date: August 18, 2026

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent CVOR, cardiovascular surgery, or perioperative nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical safety, and operating room workflows
• Ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity cardiovascular surgery environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
• Willingness to participate in a variable call schedule, weekends, and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room
• Assist with pre-operative, intra-operative, and immediate post-operative patient care
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and uphold OR safety standards throughout each case
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes during procedures
• Accurately document care, interventions, and procedural details
