Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart (OH) Nurse in Tallahassee, Florida. This position involves providing specialized surgical patient care in a trauma level 2 teaching facility that is a designated comprehensive stroke center and chest pain center. Candidates will work across multiple centers and specialties, demonstrating flexibility and strong circulating or scrubbing skills within the operating room setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Shift time is days, with 8-hour shifts, and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, EPIC electronic medical records experience, minimum of 3 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience, and at least 2 travel assignments in similar roles. Candidates must be willing to float to all different specialty pods where they are experienced circulating and/or scrubbing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong clinical skills, adaptable to various surgical specialties, and experience working in high-acuity centers.
• Float: Float rotation is not required.
• Additional Information: Orientation occurs every Monday. Candidate submissions are managed via the designated platform. The position involves working in a facility with 772 beds, with OR pods located on ground and first floors. Positions encompass all centers, including neuro, ENT, OMFS, Eyes, Dental, Plastics, Ortho, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, GYN, urology, and robotics, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 by shift.
