Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
• Prior CVOR, cardiovascular surgery, operating room, or high-acuity perioperative experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced surgical setting
• Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members
• Flexibility to support weekend and holiday rotation as assigned

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Support the OR team with safe, efficient patient preparation and intraoperative care
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes during the surgical experience
• Assist with maintaining a sterile, organized, and high-functioning operating room environment
• Collaborate with the care team to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Follow established clinical protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements
