RN Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills
• Experience caring for patients with respiratory, renal, gastrointestinal, and telemetry needs
• Experience with CVCs, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips preferred
• Comfort working in a Meditech documentation environment

Med/Surg Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor and support patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
• Administer medications and treatments according to established standards of care
• Collaborate closely with clinical coordinators, unit secretaries, PCTs, and case management
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Support patient experience goals through clear communication and compassionate care
• Participate in weekend, holiday, and floating rotations as needed
• Use critical thinking and strong clinical judgment to promote safe, effective outcomes
