- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 - $1,730
- Schedule Notes: Includes weekend rotation and holiday rotation
- Healthcare Setting: Acute care medical-surgical unit
RN Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills
- Experience caring for patients with respiratory, renal, gastrointestinal, and telemetry needs
- Experience with CVCs, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips preferred
- Comfort working in a Meditech documentation environment
Med/Surg Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Monitor and support patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
- Administer medications and treatments according to established standards of care
- Collaborate closely with clinical coordinators, unit secretaries, PCTs, and case management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Support patient experience goals through clear communication and compassionate care
- Participate in weekend, holiday, and floating rotations as needed
- Use critical thinking and strong clinical judgment to promote safe, effective outcomes
