Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong cardiac cath lab background to support standard cath and structural cases in a fast-paced cardiovascular care environment. This travel nursing job is ideal for a confident clinician who thrives in a collaborative procedural setting and is ready to contribute to a highly regarded cardiac team in Chattanooga, TN.

Job Details

• Location: Chattanooga, TN
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Call Coverage: Up to 14 call shifts per month
• Floating: Possible EP Lab support
• Documentation System: Merge / Meditech
• Special Equipment: Standard cath lab equipment used for advanced cardiac care
• Dress Code: Navy, royal blue, or gray scrubs

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience
• Experience circulating cardiac cath and structural heart cases
• Working knowledge of cath lab equipment, procedures, and moderate sedation
• BLS and ACLS required
• RCIS or CVRN preferred
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Circulate during cardiac cath and structural heart procedures
• Support patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery throughout the procedural workflow
• Assist physicians and the care team during diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases
• Monitor patients receiving moderate sedation and respond to changing clinical needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care in the cath lab
• Contribute to a collaborative unit culture focused on excellence in cardiovascular care
