Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Current ENPC certification
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, energetic approach to patient care

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Assess, monitor, and prioritize patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
• Provide care for patients with stroke, trauma, and other acute emergency presentations as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, EMTs, medics, and fellow RNs to coordinate safe, efficient care
• Use clinical tools and equipment such as EKGs, cardiac monitors, and glucose testing systems
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and follow established unit workflows
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care aligned with department standards and patient safety goals
