  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; 12-hour day shifts
  • Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
  • Setting: Emergency Department / Acute Care Hospital

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and recent acute care hospital Emergency Department experience
  • Minimum 1 year of current ER nursing experience required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency nursing environment
  • Meditech or similar EMR experience preferred
  • Trauma and stroke experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide complete emergency nursing care for patients with urgent and emergent needs
  • Assess, triage, monitor, and stabilize patients according to ED protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure timely, effective care
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with diagnostic procedures
  • Document patient care accurately in the EMR and maintain safe patient flow
  • Respond calmly to changing patient conditions and prioritize care appropriately in a high-volume emergency department
