Join a busy, pod-based Emergency Department in Salem, Massachusetts, where you’ll support a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This 65-bed ED includes a separate pediatric pod and an Acute Mental Health area, offering a dynamic clinical setting for an experienced Registered Nurse who thrives in emergency care. • Start Date: September 20, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Unit Highlights: Pod-based ED with separate pediatric and behavioral health care areas

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC and NRP certifications are strongly preferred
• Strong skills in emergency assessment, documentation, IV insertion, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education
• Experience with EPIC ASAP charting preferred
• Ability to float when needed and work rotating shifts if requested

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a wide range of patients in a fast-paced ED environment
• Perform rapid assessments, initiate care plans, and support timely interventions
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer treatments, complete documentation, and maintain accurate patient records
• Support patients and families through education and compassionate communication
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Assist with splinting, phlebotomy, IV therapy, and point-of-care testing as needed
• Maintain flexibility to support rotating areas or shifts when requested
