• Schedule: Night shift with every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotation

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 4+ years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Stepdown experience preferred for night shift coverage
• Ability to independently read telemetry strips
• Strong adaptability across different units and patient populations
• Meditech experience required
• IV insertion experience required
• Must have one recent successful travel nursing assignment
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to pass an on-site telemetry exam on day one
• Psychiatric nursing experience highly preferred
• EPIC experience strongly preferred
• Strong float pool experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in med-surg, telemetry, and float pool settings
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Deliver safe, efficient care across varied units with changing patient acuity
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support positive patient outcomes
• Perform IV therapy and other essential acute care nursing skills
• Adapt quickly to unit workflows, patient populations, and clinical priorities
• Maintain strong documentation and communication throughout the travel assignment
• Support a patient ratio of approximately 5:1 in a fast-paced hospital environment
