Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification
• Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities when appropriate
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
• Comfort working in a fast-paced maternity and women’s health setting
• Helpful but not required: experience with Spinning Babies and STABLE
• Experience with OR circulation, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4, postpartum hemorrhage management, and nitrous oxide preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Support individualized birth plans and a positive family-centered care experience
• Assist with circulating in the OR and other unit procedures as needed
• Collaborate closely with the care team to promote safe and effective outcomes
• Contribute to a supportive unit culture focused on patient experience and quality care
• Float to mother-baby or other designated areas when needed
