- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Schedule: Rotating days and nights in 4-week blocks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required
- Neuro ICU experience required
- Experience in a Level I or comparable high-acuity critical care setting required
- Epic experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification or demonstrated competency
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work rotating day/night shifts in 4-week blocks
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neuroscience patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
- Monitor and respond to acute changes in neurological status, including stroke and post-procedure patients
- Support care for patients recovering from neurosurgical and neurointerventional procedures
- Use advanced monitoring tools and evidence-based practices to support patient recovery
- Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, rehabilitation specialists, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication throughout the shift
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining safety and quality standards
