- End Date: December 8, 2026
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,740 - $1,840
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, including 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Floating: May float between units as needed
- Charting System: Electronic health record experience required; EPIC experience is a plus
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
- Active RN license required and must be in hand at submission
- Compact RN license accepted if active and available at submission
- BLS certification required
- Experience in Med/Surg Tele, telemetry monitoring, and neuro stepdown preferred
- Strong skill set in dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac rhythm management
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity acute care setting
- Experience with patient ratios of approximately 1:4 preferred
- Comfort with teamwork, flexibility, and floating between units
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to telemetry and neuro-focused medical-surgical patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Support patients with stroke, seizure, neurosurgical, and other neurologic diagnoses
- Administer treatments and interventions including oxygen therapy, peripheral line care, and isolation precautions
- Collaborate with rapid response and code teams when needed
- Document accurately in the electronic health record
- Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary support teams to promote safe, effective patient care
- Adapt to a fast-paced acute care environment while maintaining excellent patient-centered care
