Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays required
• Float Expectation: May be asked to float to other units as needed
• Start Date: 8/18/2026
• Location: Janesville, Wisconsin

Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med-Surg nursing or acute care nursing experience
• Experience supporting orthopedic nursing and/or neurology nursing patients preferred
• Education verification required
• Strong communication, time management, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care using the nursing process
• Administer medications and treatments according to policies and best practices
• Document patient care clearly and accurately in the medical record
• Develop, initiate, and carry out individualized patient plans of care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and understanding of care plans
• Use clinical judgment to promote patient safety and a positive patient experience
• Participate in unit performance improvement and shared governance activities
• Support other units when floated and escalate concerns appropriately
