• Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 - $2,160
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: May float between units and nearby facilities based on skill set and census needs
• Charting: Epic electronic medical record

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Prior experience in IMCU, stepdown, PCU, DOU, or similar intermediate care setting
• Experience caring for higher-acuity patients, including trach and ventilator patients
• Comfort managing cardiac and respiratory patients with titrated infusions and critical care drips
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Active compact or Oregon RN license in hand at submission
• Must have a vehicle for the assignment
• Ability to work flexibly and float as needed
• Two professional references covering recent nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to intermediate care and cardiac stepdown patients
• Monitor and respond to changes in cardiac and respiratory status
• Care for patients requiring tracheostomy support and ventilator management
• Administer and titrate cardiac, insulin, and other prescribed infusions per protocol
• Perform blood product administration, central line care, and peripheral line management
• Interpret dysrhythmias and collaborate with the care team on treatment plans
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting unit flow and teamwork
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
