Travel Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry Job in Cottonwood, Arizona

• Position: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Tele
• Job Type: Travel Nursing

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,770 - $1,870

Job Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Comfortable floating without restrictions to meet unit needs
• Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and telemetry monitoring
• Experience starting and maintaining IVs
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Cerner experience preferred
• ICU, PCU, or stepdown experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and follow patient safety standards, including BCMA
• Perform comprehensive assessments and respond to evolving patient needs
• Support patients with a wide range of medical and post-surgical diagnoses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes
• Float to assigned Med/Surg Telemetry units based on staffing and census
• Maintain accurate documentation in the charting system
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment
