Overview

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in the cardiovascular operating room. This role supports surgical and procedural sedation patients and works with a variety of provider specialties in a patient-centered, team-oriented environment. Ideal candidates will bring strong perioperative nursing skills, open heart experience, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,610 - $2,740
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Pattern: Varies by days, rotating weekends
• Start Date: 08/18/2026

Job Requirements

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required
• AHA ACLS required
• CVOR and open heart experience required
• At least 1 year of relevant registered nurse experience preferred in a high-acuity surgical setting
• ICU experience preferred
• Scrubbing experience preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for cardiovascular operating room patients
• Support surgical and procedural sedation cases across a diverse patient population
• Assist in the care of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and elderly patients
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiology, and perioperative team members
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-focused operating room environment
• Contribute to smooth workflow for same-day surgery and inpatient admissions
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a high-acuity travel RN assignment
