- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week

- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940-$2,040
- Orientation: 36-40 hours
- Weekend Commitment: 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
- Patient Ratio: 1:3

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; compact license must be in hand at submission if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Experience with a 1:3 patient ratio preferred
- Epic EHR charting experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Strong skills in triage, dysrhythmia management, stroke care, trauma nursing, and emergency response
- Comfort caring for a broad patient population, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Ability to meet compliance requirements, including timely submission of references and work history
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy, high-acuity Emergency Department
- Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients presenting with stroke, STEMI, chest pain, trauma, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, asthma, lacerations, and other urgent conditions
- Perform rapid triage and prioritize care based on patient acuity
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, efficient patient care
- Manage ventilated patients, IV vasopressors, central lines, BiPAP/CPAP, and isolation precautions as needed
- Administer medications and interventions in accordance with emergency nursing best practices
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic
- Support a safe, organized, and compassionate care environment for patients and families
