• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour days
• Shift Time: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Schedule: Every other weekend
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of acute inpatient telemetry RN experience
• Current BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification or equivalent NIH certification
• Prior Epic experience required
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently in an inpatient acute care setting
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments based on condition and policy
• Develop, prioritize, implement, and revise individualized plans of care
• Monitor patient responses to interventions and document outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Provide education to patients and families throughout the hospital stay and at discharge
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and families to support safe, high-quality care
• Delegate appropriately to licensed and unlicensed staff while promoting teamwork and quality outcomes
• Support unit improvement efforts, regulatory compliance, and evidence-based practice
• Serve as a mentor and resource to peers while helping maintain a positive care environment
