Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of RN experience, preferably in telemetry, med-surg, or acute care nursing
• Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care patient setting
• Comfort collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and supporting patient and family education

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments according to policy and patient condition
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized nursing plans of care
• Monitor telemetry patients and document responses to clinical interventions
• Provide education to patients and families throughout the care process and at discharge
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective care
• Delegate tasks appropriately to licensed and unlicensed personnel
• Serve as a mentor and preceptor while promoting teamwork and continuous improvement
• Support quality, safety, and service initiatives in alignment with unit standards
