• Schedule: 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200 - $2,320
• Location: Calais, Maine, a peaceful coastal community with easy access to the natural beauty of Downeast Maine

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of acute care experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Maine or authorization to practice pending endorsement
• BSN preferred; BSN required or willingness to obtain
• BCLS required
• ACLS required
• PALS required
• NRP required within 6 months of hire
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to function independently and respond quickly in emergency situations

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations and coordinate patient care activities in the absence of senior nursing leadership
• Support age-appropriate, high-quality patient care across the facility
• Coordinate nursing services and collaborate with unit leadership to maintain smooth daily operations
• Provide guidance to staff while promoting a culture of confidentiality, professionalism, and teamwork
• Use clinical expertise and sound judgment to manage staffing, workflow, and urgent patient care needs
• Help maintain standards, policies, and procedures that support excellent patient outcomes
