Night Nursing Supervisor

Job Overview

Contract nursing role in Calais, Maine
36 hours per week
12-hour night shifts

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Manager (4 years of experience)
Manager experience within the last year
Acute Care experience
ED - Emergency Department experience
BLS
ACLS
PALS

Key Responsibilities

Supervise hospital operations in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer or Director of Nursing
Coordinate age-appropriate patient care activities
Coordinate nursing care activities in the absence of unit directors
Provide overall management of the facility

Skills and Attributes

Clinical proficiency in age-appropriate patient care using the nursing process
Leadership, communication, organization, conflict management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to function independently
Ability to respond rapidly and efficiently in emergencies

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
