Emergency Department Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Burlington, Massachusetts. Join a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center just outside Boston and provide high-acuity care in a modern, supportive Emergency Department environment.
This ER RN travel assignment offers strong clinical teamwork, a desirable suburban Massachusetts location, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on every shift. Burlington provides convenient access to Boston, major highways, shopping, dining, and the scenic North Shore.
Job Details
- Start Date: 8/31/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
- Schedule Expectations: Every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts required
- Setting: Emergency Department / Level I Trauma Center
- Charting System: EPIC experience required
- Float: Not required
Job Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Level I Trauma Center experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- PALS or ENPC required
- TNCC required
- EPIC experience required
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and designated holidays as scheduled
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency nursing care in a busy ED setting
- Assess, triage, and stabilize patients with urgent and emergent conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support rapid treatment decisions
- Administer medications, perform clinical interventions, and monitor patient response
- Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in EPIC
- Respond effectively in a high-acuity, high-volume Emergency Department environment
- Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and excellent communication throughout each shift
