Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Travel Contract in Burlington, MA

Emergency Department Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Burlington, Massachusetts. Join a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center just outside Boston and provide high-acuity care in a modern, supportive Emergency Department environment.

This ER RN travel assignment offers strong clinical teamwork, a desirable suburban Massachusetts location, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on every shift. Burlington provides convenient access to Boston, major highways, shopping, dining, and the scenic North Shore.

Job Details

• Start Date: 8/31/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Schedule Expectations: Every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts required
• Setting: Emergency Department / Level I Trauma Center
• Charting System: EPIC experience required
• Float: Not required

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• PALS or ENPC required
• TNCC required
• EPIC experience required
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and designated holidays as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency nursing care in a busy ED setting
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support rapid treatment decisions
• Administer medications, perform clinical interventions, and monitor patient response
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in EPIC
• Respond effectively in a high-acuity, high-volume Emergency Department environment
• Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and excellent communication throughout each shift
