Job Requirements

• Valid multi-state or Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
• BLS and PALS certification
• Epic experience required
• 0-6 months of related pediatric nursing experience
• Strong understanding of disease state management, bio-psychosocial care, and clinical pathways
• Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills
• Ability to review clinical and numerical data with accuracy and attention to detail
• Completion of an approved nursing education program

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process
• Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and unit guidelines
• Provide pediatric nursing care that reflects cultural and psychosocial considerations
• Prioritize tasks and perform nursing skills appropriate for the pediatric population
• Anticipate patient and unit needs in a fast-paced pediatric emergency setting
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Document care accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner
• Support patient teaching, discharge planning, and appropriate referrals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support quality patient outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement efforts, education, and required in-services
• Complete variance reports and follow unit policies and procedures
