• Call: Minimal call, with occasional late stay Monday through Friday if needed
• Weekend Requirement: None unless needed
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• EMR: EPIC
• Patient Population: General surgery, colorectal, GYN, urology, uro gyn, bariatric, and orthopedic patients

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 3 to 5 years of experience in PACU, pre-op, or post-op nursing preferred
• Current ACLS and PALS certification
• Strong clinical skills in a fast-paced surgical recovery or perioperative setting
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player in a busy ambulatory surgery center
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Comfortable caring for a diverse range of surgical patients

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to pre-op and post-op ambulatory surgery patients
• Monitor patient status closely during recovery and prepare patients for discharge
• Support patient flow in a 20-bed procedural area with high standards of efficiency and compassion
• Maintain appropriate patient ratios and deliver care in a team-oriented clinical environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to support excellent patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC
• Adapt to varied surgical cases and changing daily priorities with professionalism
