Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Med-Surg or Telemetry RN experience required
• Step-down nursing experience preferred, but not required
• Active Arizona RN license or eligibility to obtain before start
• Current nursing certification as applicable to the role
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in call rotation when assigned
• Experience with EMR systems preferred
• Flu vaccine required with no exceptions
• Must meet travel assignment requirements, including residence outside the designated local radius

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate patient care for adult Med/Surg, observation, and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess changes in patient condition, and communicate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the EMR
• Maintain a patient-focused approach while supporting a busy night shift acute care environment
• Participate in call coverage as needed during low census periods
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and team-oriented clinical setting
