- Unit Environment: Cerner Medical Intensive Care Unit / COVID ICU
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit, ICU, or similar critical care setting
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Preferred: CCRN certification
- Strong critical care nursing skills and the ability to thrive in a high-acuity ICU environment
- Comfort working night shifts in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare setting
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the MICU
- Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in clinical condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and ICU interventions according to established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate charting and follow clinical documentation standards
- Provide compassionate support to patients and families during difficult moments
- Adapt to evolving patient needs in a busy intensive care and COVID ICU environment
