• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,070-$2,180

Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent palliative care or acute Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong IV therapy, wound care, and clinical assessment skills
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and time management abilities
• Experience with patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pumps or CHPN certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for adults with intensive symptom management needs
• Perform thorough nursing assessments and advocate for patients with complex medical needs
• Support patients and families during challenging end-of-life care situations
• Deliver skilled IV therapy, wound care, and general Med/Surg nursing interventions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to manage patient comfort and clinical priorities
• Care for general medicine overflow patients as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary staff
