NICU Registered Nurse – Travel RN Assignment in Edmonds, WA

  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
  • Orientation: Virtual modules followed by in-unit orientation

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU RN experience
  • Active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current AHA BLS certification
  • Current NRP certification
  • Experience caring for patients with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Comfort working with newborns and infants in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit setting
  • Willingness to float as needed to support related pediatric care areas
  • Two professional references covering at least 1 year of specialty experience within the last 3 years
  • EPIC charting experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to NICU newborns and infants
  • Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Administer treatments and support care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communication throughout the shift
  • Support safe staffing needs by floating between designated units or campuses when needed
  • Promote a calm, family-centered environment for patients and caregivers
  • Follow all clinical standards, safety protocols, and unit procedures
