• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Schedule Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Unit Highlights: 30-bed medical/surgical unit with transplant, bariatric, and general med/surg patients; intermittent charge responsibilities may be included, with training provided

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent med/surg or telemetry nursing experience
• Experience caring for post-op transplant and bariatric surgery patients preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care or hospital environment
• Willingness to work every other weekend and holiday rotations
• Strong teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills
• Must meet onboarding and compliance requirements, including required screenings, verifications, and documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor patients closely and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Care for pre-operative and post-operative solid organ transplant patients
• Support bariatric surgery and general med/surg patient needs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record
• Assist with charge nurse responsibilities as needed, with training and shadowing available
