Job Requirements

• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license at the time of submission; license must not be pending
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN or acute care nursing experience required
• Telemetry RN experience strongly preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• Ability to perform IV starts
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• 2 supervisory references required
• MEDITECH experience is helpful, but not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care on a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit
• Monitor patient conditions, interpret changes, and communicate findings to the care team
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and support daily treatment plans
• Perform IV starts and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support positive patient outcomes
• Support weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• Adapt quickly to a fast-paced travel nursing assignment while maintaining quality standards
