Job Requirements
- Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license at the time of submission; license must not be pending
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN or acute care nursing experience required
- Telemetry RN experience strongly preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
- Ability to perform IV starts
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- 2 supervisory references required
- MEDITECH experience is helpful, but not required
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care on a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret changes, and communicate findings to the care team
- Administer medications, complete assessments, and support daily treatment plans
- Perform IV starts and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support positive patient outcomes
- Support weekend and holiday coverage as needed
- Adapt quickly to a fast-paced travel nursing assignment while maintaining quality standards
