Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical / Med-Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and alternating weekends
• Must meet travel assignment criteria
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality bedside care to adult Med/Surg patients
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
• Support patient education and discharge planning
• Maintain a calm, compassionate presence in a busy acute care clinical setting
