Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Recent Med/Surg Tele experience preferred
• Active Registered Nurse license in the practicing state
• Strong cardiac monitoring and acute patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills
• BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status, including telemetry readings and changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to support patient care plans
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as appropriate
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support a safe, patient-centered environment focused on quality outcomes
