Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience required
• Must be able to circulate in the OR
• Scrub experience preferred
• Active New Jersey RN license required at time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• CNOR certification preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care throughout the perioperative and surgical care process
• Circulate during surgical procedures while maintaining a safe, efficient operating room environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to support optimal patient outcomes
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for scheduled procedures
• Monitor patient status and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Ensure adherence to sterile technique, infection prevention standards, and facility protocols
• Support patient safety, comfort, and continuity of care before, during, and after surgery
