Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to support a busy Labor & Delivery unit. This role is ideal for an OB nurse who enjoys high-acuity maternal care, teamwork, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients and families during one of life’s most important moments.

- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,010 - $2,120
- Weekend Rotation: Rotating weekends
- Call: No call required
- Float Requirement: May float to NICU
- Unit Highlights: 17-bed women’s services unit with patient care guided by AWHONN standards
- Location: Las Cruces, NM 88011
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Years of Experience: Any
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Ability to work nights and rotating weekends
- Comfortable with cesarean section circulation and recovery
- Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-focused care skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care for laboring and postpartum patients
- Support full-spectrum maternal care across the Labor & Delivery setting
- Circulate and recover cesarean section patients
- Monitor fetal status and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with the care team to support positive birth outcomes
- Assist with newborn stabilization and maternal recovery as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit standards of care
- Float to NICU when needed and appropriate
