Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Strong clinical skills, professionalism, and adaptability in a hospital-based telemetry setting

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assess patients, develop care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and hospital policies
• Document patient care accurately and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, accountability, and patient-centered care throughout the assignment
