- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 - $1,730
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift Duration: 12 Hour Nights
- Schedule: Every other weekend; flexibility required to meet department needs
- Setting: High-volume Emergency Department
- Work Environment: No floating outside the ED, but flexibility to support all areas within the department
- Documentation System: Cerner
Job Requirements
- Active RN license and ability to work in a fast-paced emergency care setting
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year of ER experience
- Experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume emergency department preferred
- Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and provide real-time feedback
- Flexibility to work across all areas of the ED
- Current certifications required before start: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS
- ENPC required within 90 days of hire
- Previous HCA experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency nursing care in a busy emergency department
- Provide care to a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels, including behavioral health holds
- Support safe, efficient patient flow while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with the care team
- Use clinical judgment to respond quickly to changing patient conditions and emergency situations
- Maintain excellent patient experience standards, including respectful communication and ongoing patient updates
- Work collaboratively with techs, clerks, and other ED team members to ensure smooth operations
- Adapt to departmental needs and contribute to a welcoming, supportive team culture
