Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the appropriate state
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg Tele nursing experience required
• Ability to monitor and assess patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• BLS certification preferred
• Ability to work night shifts in an on-site hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly communicate changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and document care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care environment throughout the assignment
